|Are you child friendly?|
BUT...we are not a large hotel - there are no games rooms, pool tables or swimming pools. We welcome well behaved children and parents who want to control them but we've had a few families recently who seem to think we're a crèche.
We don't want your children running around. They will usually trip up and injure themselves.
We value the repeat business of our regular guests who enjoy more peaceful surroundings.
So...if your children can be boistrous and you think that's OK because "after all they're on their holidays" we'd probably prefer you booked elsewhere. See http://www.blackpoolhotel.com for an alternative and have a GREAT trip to Blackpool!!
|Do you accept stag/hen/same sex bookings?|
|No. Sorry - no we don't. There are many hotels in Blackpool that do. |

|Can I have a late key?|
|Yes, of course you can. All guests get their own room key and front door key which you keep with you for the duration of your stay.|
|Can you guarantee me a car parking spot?|
|Sorry - we don't guarantee car parking. We have 19 spaces for vehicles on our own car park which are allocated on a first come first served basis and is usually enough as some of our guests arrive by train or coach etc. |
If you arrive and there is a spot please take it. If we are "chock-a-block" we may have to direct you to an alternative spot nearby which will be at rear of the hotel and on well lit main road.
|What time does your bar shut?|
This all depends on demand. It's not worth keeping the barman on late if there is only one or two guests that will be using the bar. Weekends usually to at least midnight though.|
Midweek we usually close the bar at 11pm.
|I want this to be really special - can you get me some flowers|
Sure we can - we have a local florist we use but perhaps the easiest way is for you to go through Interflora. The local Interflora is Wilkinsons and they can deliver to us the previous or same day ready for your room when you arrive. Prices start around £20 and can go as high as you like. If you prefer to ring them direct their number is: 01253 299929. If you place an order with them make sure you give them the same name you booked the room in so we know where to put them!!!|

|Do you do evening meals?|
|No. We find most of our guests prefer to dine out so we took the decision not to provide an evening meal. In fact we recently had this clause removed from our Alcohol Licence so there is no longer a legal requirement for us to provide this. We also provide menus for three local takeways (giving a choice of over 120 meals!!!). So....you want to order a take out - no probs we would ask you to consume this in the dining room - we'll provide plates, cutlery and condiments|
|Do you provide newspapers?|
|Yes - a selection of newspapers are available every day|
|Are pets allowed?|
|Sorry....absolutely no animals ....and that includes all male groups :o) |
We just spent thousands on a new carpet throughout the hotel.
|Do you provide entertainment?|
|We do karaoke on Fridays and some Saturdays to midnight (Friday seems to be the more popular night) and on selected midweek nights to 11:30pm if there is sufficient demand from July to October. On selected Saturdays we also have an artiste on around 11pm which gives guests the chance to go out and enjoy Blackpool and still get back in time for the Act.|
|Is your hotel wheelchair accessible?|
No. Although we have a lift to all floors (on one side of the hotel) there are a few steps at the front of the hotel and the landings and corridors can be tricky to negotiate if you are confined to your chair.|
|Do you allow smoking?|
No. Following changes in the law on July 2007 we are now completely non smoking within all areas of the hotel
