Jacobs Creek are sponsors of the Canasta Isle of Man Invitational

...anything else we missed?

Well here is a good place to put a recent email I had from Jonathan Hurst:-

I asked him if he fancied coming to Portugal for the PIGS 2005

Here is his reply:-
3 kids that should say it all, Its alright I'll join up with when my kids are in their teens and can look after themselves, by then you'll all be old buggers and hopefully I'll be able to hit twice as long. arthritis will have set in your legs won't take you round as well as now. Put me down for 2014, unless I win lottery in meantime then I'll take you all for the month to the US. I'll hire you all buggies so you can keep up with me

Ps I think we came last again in the North Shore comp I scored 2 pts first nine not played for 8 months, then from twelve onwards nothing worse than a bogey so redeemed myself slightly. Got told to turn my hat round by some snooty old tosser god they are bloody snobs up there I don't know how you put up with them.

Re Portugal again, I wouldn't want to embarrass you all as I'd be drinking you all under the table I'd be the only one able to speak. Plus I heard its a bit rough where you go (fights etc) then again that wouldn't be so bad.

Catch you later

Urm...the words "Under" and "Thumb" spring to mind
