The Players
Eddie Daniels
Consistently good scoring with a total of 94 saw Eddie Daniels win this years CIOMI by one point.
Consistently irritating whinging about handicaps also saw him win the coveted "WHINGER OF THE WEEK AWARD"
Constant threats to take Terry outside and punch him also saw Eddie win the "BULLY OF THE WEEK AWARD" ensuring a pocketful of awards to take home to Blackpool
Terry Large
Past winner of the CIOMI, Terry Large was magnanimous in defeat this year when he offered to give Eddie the trophy should he win it (just to shut him up). Terry was pleased with the outcome and bored us all constantly telling us about his enormous drive down the 17th and how unfair it was that he didn't score on that hole. He received a warning after spitting his dummy out on the 18th fairway on the final round.
Trevor Ayliff
Tournament favourite, Trevor Ayliff, came third this year with 91 points (but remains top of the money list). Despite excuses about a dodgy kneecap he was spotted walking without any limp outside the Glue Pot (perhaps the Pernod had kicked in)
Kim Amess
With a very respectable 88 points Kim played well apart from the first day. Kim finished in 4th place and was a welcome new addition to the PCA Tour. Although good at golf and equally good at getting pissed his knowledge of the shipping industry is sadly lacking when he mistakenly thought a destroyer was, in fact, a submarine, despite 4 dirty great big funnels. It's a good job he ain't in the Navy!!
Cliff Wright
Early leader, Cliff, lost the plot on the final round. Fellow players were bewildered how he managed to score 23 points in a disastrous last round.
