| After failing to appear on the tee on the 1st day of competition golf Mick really was pissing against the wind for the rest of the week. Controversy reigns, however, as the rules seemed to change more than a few times throughout the week as various players found themselves in the unenviable position of Muppet contender. Cliff was heard to be pleading for ownership at one point just so he can say at least he took something back to Nuneaton. However that meant that Dougie would have tied for that and he was having NONE OF THAT!!! Common sense prevailed, however, and after a meeting between the area Captains (Terry and Trev) it was decided that the first rule applied on the Sunday - that is that the Muppet was to be awarded over 6 competition days. So - tough shit Mick, the words "Cookie" and "Crumbles" come to mind (Bwahahahahaha) and the author of this web-site is breathing a HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!! |
