Surprisingly little scandal this year. Doug didn't get in any fights. Nobody threw up...that we know of anyway. Golf, in general, was poor from the higher handicappers (...urm and some of the lower handicappers also).
Of course, the new award "Biggest Spat of the Week" was closely contested between Aidan, for throwing the microphone down during a performance on the karaoke that was interupted by somebody...and Cliff for throwing out his baby toys for "not waking me up...thanks a LOT YOU WANKERS!!"

Of particular note was the special presentation made from all the girls in and around Vilamoura. Cliff was presented with a candle...because of the amount of times he's been blown out during the week. And so a nickname was born.

Worthy of further note was Terry's fall trying to "cimb into the hotel at night" and his attempts to formulate a story to tell Lesley!! Terry...you can't pull the wool over Lesley's eyes...she knows you didn't stumble on the golf course and bump your head...
Apart from the copious amount of drink consumed by Aidan and Cliff EVERY night there was surprisingly little else to report of for the scandal seeking reader...maybe next year.
Maybe...it was a scandal ...that Doug didn't get the muppet...he played so bad he surely deserved it but for the fact that Paul and Mick failed to turn up on two days he would surely have been a deserving winner....maybe next year
